Description: Great Blue Outfitters (aka GBO) is in Patterson, New York, in Putnam County. Both Putnam and neighboring Dutchess County to the north are ideally situated for outdoor recreation. Situated less than two hours from New York Citys Grand Central Terminal via Metro North (Harlem Line), we are close enough to the metropolitan area to be easily accessible while far enough away to have a wide variety of recreation options. Want to go for a leisurely paddle? Or a hike on the Appalachian Trail? Perhaps you prefer two wheels: then how about mountain biking, or enjoying a quiet ride on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail?
